KommerceServer ERP Integration

KommerceServer is a web development framework for building robust integrated Ecommerce applications with Microsoft DotNet and SQL Server. KommerceServer has an available Storefront and Customer Portal application, which can be integrated to any back office ERP system. Because KommerceServer is a stand-alone environment, it integrates to the back office via outbound and inbound APIs. The following diagram shows a high-level model of the integration between KommerceServer and the back office.

The integration between KommerceServer and the back office uses a push-pull strategy. Therefore, it is recommended to have an automated Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tool suite to facilitate the integration. In most cases, the Kourier Integrator Data Management Suite by Kore Technologies is used and is therefore assumed in this topic.
